Dragonflies and lily pads

Suwanee Art Show

This weekend we had our first official vendor show in Old Town Suwanee, GA. Overall I think it went well. It was a great crash course into having a booth. We sold a little but gained a lot of experience in the short time. I am glad it's over; the heat and humidity was unbearable. We are hoping to have our next booth in October at the Apple Harvest Festival. I will update the two people that read this if we are having it our not ; )

We are very happy to announce our first vendor show on July 28th & 28th @ Suwanee Town Center Park in downtown Suwanee, Georgia.

Here are the details:

Broadway in the Park goes under the sea Ariel, Prince Eric, Sebastian, and evil Ursula swim into Town Center Park for Suwanee Performing Arts' 2012 Broadway in the Park production. Little Mermaid Jr., Suwanee Performing Arts' annual summer performance and fundraiser, will be staged Friday and Saturday, July 27 and 28. An original one-act play, Filligan's Island, a take on the popular 1960s television series Gilligan's Island, will open the event each evening at 7 p.m. Broadway in the Park is free and open to the public, but, as the performances serve as the annual fundraiser for Suwanee Performing Arts (SPA), donations are encouraged. "Mermaid is colorful, fun, and so many people are familiar with the show that attendees will be able to sing along, making the experience even more memorable," says Patty Etherton, SPA founder and creative director. An Island Market, featuring vendors and activities similar to a cruise ship port, will be open from 4-7 p.m. at Town Center Park before each show. Suwanee Performing Arts is a nonprofit community arts organization founded on the belief that performing art ignites a passion for excellence within a community. Cre8tive Papier is now stocking Laura's and Betsy's art cards and framed animal prints at Greenwood Florist in RomneyWV. Gardening aprons for kids will be in stock starting Monday, March 12.  Current cards include those for St Patrick's Day, anniversary, birthday, and more. Upcoming shortly will be Easter, additional Springy Mother's Day, and Graduation.

With limited time I'm finding it hard to really focus on our Cre8tive Papier venture. I guess nothing happens overnight does it? I get so impatient sometimes; time to just buckle down and treat this like my baby :)
